These programs are effective beyond the typical series of doctor’s visits because they are week-long intensives. One is immersed in natural medicine as a way of life, not just a therapy. Patients are taught tools for self-healing including preparing nutritious foods, using botanical remedies, homeopathy, Chinese medicine and acupuncture, rolfing and hydrotherapy. The medicines are tailored to the individual needs. These programs are conducted in beautiful places throughout the world, often including mineral hot springs or temascal (traditional sweat lodge). They also include a sport activity to challenge and help the individual grow. They are conducted in the spirit of the vision quest in which each person has the opportunity to contact Spirit and receive Its blessings of wholeness, healing, and happiness.

They are comprehensive and tailored to the individual to be most effective. They benefit chronic diseases such as acne, alcoholism, allergies, asthma, arthritis, cancer, diabetes, digestive disorders, heart disease, hormone imbalances and many others. Women’s Programs

Programs for women’s health, self-discovery, and empowerment include choice of outdoor adventure, cleansing, fertility awareness, addiction recovery, menopause or stress management. We also address the mental/emotional issues women face. Group ceremonies empower women by confirming their intuition and spirituality. Women feel a sense of connection and confidence in their lives they can take into the world.

Injury rehabilitation

Injuries resulting from accidents, surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation, emotional trauma or disease cause inflammation, chemical or structural imbalances and pain. By combining psychological techniques, nutrition, exercise, and structural integration we can free the body of pain permanently.

Longevity

Many people believe aches and pains and other uncomfortable symptoms are part of growing old. The benefits of natural living are the prevention of pains and disease. Longevity programs teach people healthy eating and preparing of foods. Exercises to strengthen bones and keep the body flexible and breathing techniques for relaxation and stress management are incorporated. Antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and other beneficial supplements are discussed. The art of happiness is cultivated as we face the quality of our lives.
