Nature-Cure is a revolution in the art and science of medicine. It is a way of life based on a simple philosophy of cause and effect. It honors nature and how we were designed to live.
Health is the normal and harmonious vibration of the elements and forces that comprise the human organism. Disease is abnormal and inharmonious vibration of these elements and forces. Acute disease is the body's effort to eliminate waste and foreign matter such as infection or toxins. Acute symptoms should thus be supported in order to assist the body's eliminative efforts. Chronic disease is the accumulation of waste and subsequent destruction of vital tissue.
The result is lowered vibration, and inability of the organism to react against destructive processes. The body deteriorates and often creates much suffering in the individual. Treating merely the symptoms often prolongs the disease. One must find the cause and remove the obstacle to cure. A healing crisis is the acute reaction resulting from the ascending of the healing forces over the disease. One feels stronger than prior to the illness. This is rarely seen in today's medicine. It still occurs regularly with homeopathy and other natural medicines. They work miracles daily as nature's expression of love.
Introduction: Illness and death from the swine flu is a possibility for any of us. The news, media, and current conversations constantly remind us. Yet, fear of the unknown creates unnessary stress. Instead, let us use this epidemic as an opportunity to improve our wellbeing. This article aims to relieve some fear by imparting the facts and options available. It is hoped you will feel prepared to face the weather. To stay updated on the information, visit the website http://www.thelancet.com/H1N1-flu.
Facts/Symptoms: According to world-wide studies of swine flu (H1N1 virus), we learn flu season is early this year. Currenlty, swine flu is prevalent in the US and is similarly severe as other influenza viruses. The difference is it binds directly to the lung tissue, so a cough develops soon after infection (incubation is between 1-4 days). Often, headache and GI symptoms also occur with the swine flu such as nausea and/or diarrhea. Symptoms similar to other influenza viruses include fever/chills, sore throat, body aches, loss of energy and appetite. Some people experience emotional symptoms such as anxiety and sadness with the swine flu, perhaps because it attatches to the lungs so rapidly.
Green leaf vegetables are your greatest ally to stay healthy, prevent disease, detox your body, and live carefree. Green is the new popular word that signifies sustainable living and the environmental movement. Ultimately, I believe it is about our relationship with nature. The more we respect it and take care of it, the more it takes care of us.
Green leafy vegetables are packed with vitamins and minerals, chorophyll, as well as carbs and protien for energy. We could live on green leafy vegetables alone. Some yogis used to live alone in caves and ate only stinging nettles leaves. Others may choose to live a party lifestyle and can keep going with greens in their diets. Green leafy vegetables are bitter in taste, which is especially good for the liver. It helps stimulate the release of bile. Bile has the dual function of releasing toxins cleared by the liver to be excreted in the feces and emulsifying fats for their absorption into the bloodstream. One could eat fatty foods, drink alcohol and keep on partying with greens in their diets. Though I don't recommend this path for feeling your best, it is a start for people who don't care about health or have very stressful lives. The detoxifying and blood-building qualities of greens can help us achieve any of our health goals. They help us lose weight, have clearer skin and more energy. There is a certain amount of confidence that comes from eating healthy because you are treating yourself well. You do not have to fear getting chronic illness later in life because you are taking measures to prevent them. Green leafy vegetables protect against cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and many other diseases.
